The pipe bore and hole must fit tightly during the installation of the metal expansion pipe. It is prohibited to make excessively large holes to prevent accidental drops of loosening expansion pipe.

Warning

  1. The air must not be discharged into a flue that is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels, the discharge of air must fulfill the requirements of local regulations.
  2. Note that when installing the metal expansion pipe, the pipe shall match with the hole in size Overlarge hole N . prohibited, as it will result in the loose pipe and accidental drops.
  3. There shall be adequate ventilation of the room when the range hood is used at the same time as appliances burning gas or other fuels.
  4. If the flue aperture is less than the air duct aperture, it will influence the fume suction effect and the too-long air duct will. influence the fume suction effect, too.
  5. This appliance just for household use only. And it’s not allowed to exhaust dangerous or explosive matter or air. It should . be put under a dry and ventilation environment without dangerous air.

Preparation Before Installation

  • Surrounding environment
    Range hood shall be avoided to be installed at the place where there are many doors and windows since it will cause too large cross ventilation so as to influence the oil fume exhaust effect-.
  • Tool preparation
    The following tools shall be prepared when range hood installation:
  1. Electric impact drill (with a drill);
  2. Wrench
  3. Screw driver
  4. Ruler

Installation Notice

  • Installation and circuit setting must be operated by professionals with experience and non-professionals shall not assemble, disassemble and repair range hood.
  • Don t connect to power before installation it may cause electric shock.
  • If your kitchen is in a decoration state, please do not expose the range hood outside since construction material, dust, paint, coating and the gases they volatile will corrode the surface of the range hood and the surface will be tarnished. Therefore, its suggested assembling the range hood after decoration.
  • If the gas hob needs to be removed before installing the range hood, please turn off the gas valve firstly.
  • Don t install a range hood on the wooden or another flammable wall The wall of the installation range hood shall be on a nonflammable enough stable smooth and level surface.
  • The range hood may have a very sharp edge, please wear protective gloves while moving the range hood for installation cleaning or maintenance.
  • When drilling holes on the wall, the electric wire buried in the wall shall be avoided to prevent fire.
  • Range hood shall not be installed too high, nor shall it be disturbed by external airflow so that the fume suction effect will not be influenced.
  • Please retain installation space for the hood while fabricating the cupboard so as for the care and maintenance.
  • Please keep the hood body level while installing the machine.
  • ( Please use single-phase socket with earthing, which shall be well earthed. Water pipe grounding is not reliable. The grounding of gas piping may cause the danger of fire and explosion.)
  • Use appointed accessories for installation or range hood may fall down and cause danger.
  • If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer its service agent or similarly, qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard Don t stretch, change, tie, or press the supply cord, or it may cause fire .or electric shock.
  • If finish installation clean the range hood firstly then connect power and test run.

The hood shall be installed right above the hob The minimum distance between the bearing surface of cooking. appliance and the lowest part of the hood is mm larger space specified in the installation instruction of gas hob shall 650 ( be considered if any the distance for electric cooker may be reduced appropriately depending on the actual situations).

Switch Control Panel

Note:

  1. Stir-fry: Under the standby mode, then press this button to start the Stir-fry function, and it will turn to the quick speed automatically after 1 minute.
  2. Quick speed: Under the standby mode, then press this button to start the quick speed function.
  3. Medium speed Under the standby mode, then press this button to start the medium: speed function.
  4. Slow speed: Under the standby mode, then press this button to start the slow speed function.
  5. long-press the setting key when the power is off, the middle-speed key, and the Setting: slow speed key will flash to enter the clock adjustment state. The function now is setting hour/ minute.
  6. Lighting: Press this button to turn on / off the light.
  7. Heating: When the range hood is off, press this button to start the Auto clean electric dry heat mode. It will last for 10 minutes, first 9 minutes, it is heating, the last 1 minutes, remove the greasy quickly.
  8. On key (power): Press this button, the range hood will be under power on/off; When the motor just starts to work, then press this button, then it will be a 60 seconds delay; When the range hood is off, long press this button can start/close the Intelligent Somatosensory touch control.
  9. Somatosensory control:
    A. Under power-off state:
    1. Fast speed: from left to right, one time.
    2. Medium speed: from left to right, twice.
    3. Low speed: from left to right, three times.
    B. Under working state: from right to left, turn off.

Maintenance and Services

Warning

  1. There is a fire risk if cleaning is not carried out in accordance with the instructions.
  2. Cleaning and maintenance shall be conducted under outage. Electrical components such as motor, switch, and connector shall not be spoiled by water so as to prevent accidents.
  3. It s prohibited to wash with water so as to prevent accidents.

Notice

  • The hood shall be cleaned and maintained regularly depending on the surroundings so as to keep its, cleanness efficiency and extend its service life&.
    We recommend: Clean the surface of the hood each time after cooking.
    To ensure smooth discharge of fumes, the mesh cover shall be cleaned regularly with warm water and detergent according to actual situations Be careful to avoid damage.
  • Don’t use the powerful detergent, we recommend wiping with a wet cloth soaked in neutral detergent and drying it with soft cloth. And avoid detergent to touch switches.
  • Don t keep dirt on the surface of the range hood for a long time;
  • Don t use a cleaning ball brush or another harsh tool to clean the range hood. It may cause scoring.
  • Wear gloves to clean or maintain range hood avoiding hurt.
  • Check the oil cup regularly. Hold the oil cup by hand as the picture, then remove the oil cup and pull out waste oil.
  • Don t touch the lamp if turn on or turn off in a short time. It may cause a scald.
  • If the range hood doesn’t use for a long time, pull out the plug. Don’t haul plug crudely.

Parts Removal

Warning

  1. The machine body needs not be disassembled in ordinary conditions. Disassembly shall be operated by the professional serviceman.
  2. Before cleaning, installation, or maintenance for the range hood, cut off the power supply to avoid electric shock.

Light Removal

Insert a small flathead screwdriver or something sharp in the gap between the light cover and hood.

Raise it outward forcibly to remove the spotlight. from the hood Pull out the connector to replace the spotlight.

Filter Mesh Removal

Firstly take down the oil cup than one hand hold the oil collector the other hand Loses two fixing screws and then take down the oil collector Please be careful when taken down to avoid the oil in the oil collector spill Please wear protective gloves so as not to hurt your hand.

Switch Removal

This is under a power disconnected situation to handle:

  1. push the glass from right to left, then take out the glass panel, replace the control board. Then assemble the glass with the opposite way, comparing with disassembling the glass. And make sure the re-assembled glass is on the same level as the range hood body.
  2. Pull out the glass (as a whole set) forward, then take out the glass panel, replace the control board. Then assemble the glass in the opposite way, comparing with disassembling the glass. And make sure the re-assembled glass is on the same level as the range hood body.

HAIER APPLIANCES (INDIA) PVT. LTD. (here-in-after referred to as “the Company”) hereby offers the following warranty to the original domestic purchaser commencing from the date of the Purchase (DOP). The Company at its sole discretion, will free of charge repair or replace any defective part or parts which prove to be defective in workmanship and/or materials and not due to abnormal or improper usage

CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY

  1. This warranty will be automatically terminated on the expiry of the warranty period from the Date of Purchase (DOP).
  2. The Company is not liable for any delay in servicing due to reasons beyond the control of the Company or any of its authorized service centers.
  3. Parts replaced or repaired under this warranty are warranted throughout the remaining of the original warranty period.
  4. It is entirely left to the Company’s discretion to repair/replace parts at the site of installation or at the authorized service center.
  5. This warranty shall be strictly limited to the repairs or replacement of the defective part specified in the warranty. This warranty shall not cover any consequential or resulting liability.
  6. This warranty shall not, in any case, extend towards payment of any monetary consideration whatsoever or replacement or return of the product.
  7. The Company may repair/supply parts free of cost during the warranty period. This warranty does not cover any Excise duty, Central or Sales tax, Octroi, and other local taxes or levies on the components/parts.
  8. The parts shall be replaced by functionally operating equivalent material only and not with brand new ones and are likely to be different from the one originally fitted. The parts thus removed shall be taken back by the Company.
  9. The Company reserves the right to retain any part or component replaced at its sole discretion during the warranty period.
  10. In no event, the Company or its authorized service center, be liable for any consequential damages or resulting liability, damage, or loss arising directly or indirectly out of any defect in the product.
  11. This warranty is not valid in the case of the following events.
    a) If the Product has been Installed/Serviced/Repaired/Opened or Tampered by any unauthorized personnel.
    b) If defects arise/are caused by accidents, alteration, misuse, neglect, the substitution of original components with spurious/non-genuine components, attacked by household pest/rodents, fire, flood, earthquake, lightning and/or any other act of God/natural calamities.
    c) The product is shitted outside India.
  12. (a) For any service under this warranty beyond city/town/municipal limits from the Company/authorized service center, a fixed charge of Rs. 100 will be collected from the customer in addition to the actual to and for charges by the shortest route. (b) Service charges are applicable after the expiry of a comprehensive warranty.
  13. Any change of location or change in the ownership during the warranty period must be intimated in writing to the Company.
  14. The Company’s employees or its authorized representatives have no authority to vary the terms of this warranty
  15. Brass burners valve carry a warranty against any manufacturing defect for 60 months. Warranty is not applicable for De-coloration of the burners.
  16. The warranty does not cover rust, oxidation, discoloration, scratches, and wear & tear, plastic, rubber, aesthetic, filters, Consumable parts.
  17. HOB Tempered glass top has 24 Month warranty for any manufacturing defect. The warrant of glass becomes null & void in the following conditions.
    a) Glass breakage due to improper use or accidental damage.
    b) Use of gas tandoor / Gas Oven / Dosa Tawa.
    c) Sprinkling of water on the hot glass surface.
    d) Other safety norms/precautions not followed.
  18. This warranty is affected in New Delhi and claims if any, shall be made only before the courts have jurisdiction in New Delhi and no claim shall be made against the Company outside New Delhi notwithstanding that the Appliance may have been sold or delivered elsewhere.
