Application technology

Removal of lower spray arm from ProfiLine dishwasher

The lower spray arm must be removed before the APFD 211 adapter can be fit-ted in the wash cabinet of the ProfiLine dishwasher.

  • Switch off the dishwasher.

Removing the lower spray arm

  •  Remove the lower basket.
  • Rotate the screw thread of the lower spray arm anti-clockwise and pull the spray arm and the screw thread up and out of the wash cabinet.

The lower spray arm is permanently attached to the screw thread. The adapter can only be fitted with a permanently attached screw thread.

Fitting the APFD 211 adapter

  • Fit the adapter with the screw thread and ensure that the filter combination lies flat in the base of the wash cabinet.
  • Rotate the screw thread of the adapter clockwise until the arrow in the viewing window points to the lock symbol.
  • Check that the adapter connection is secure.

Damage due to soiling entering the circulation system. The adapter is used to secure the fil-ter combination. Without filters, coarse soiling can enter the circulation system and cause a blockage.

Application technology

Removal of lower spray arm from freshwater dishwasher

The lower spray arm must be removed before the APFD 212 adapter can be fitted in the wash cabinet of the fresh water dishwasher.

  • Switch off the dishwasher.

  • Remove the lower basket.
  • Rotate the screw thread of the lower spray arm anti-clockwise and pull the spray arm and the screw thread up and out of the wash cabinet.

Fitting the APFD 212 adapter

  • Fit the adapter with the screw thread and ensure that the filter combination lies flat in the base of the wash cabinet.
  • Rotate the screw thread of the adapter clockwise until the arrow in the viewing window points to the lock symbol .
  • Check that the adapter connection is secure.

Damage due to soiling entering the circulation system. The adapter is used to secure the fil-ter combination. Without filters, coarse soiling can enter the circulation system and cause a blockage. Do not run a wash program without the adapter or without the filters.

Preparing the load items

  • Remove any coarse soiling from the load items.
  • Check that the load items are suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher.

Notes

Risk of damage caused by acids and solvents. Acid or solvent residues, especially hydrochloric acid or chlorides, must not get inside the wash cabinet. Do not use acids or solvents in the wash cabinet. Damage caused by load items soiled with ash, sand, wax, lubricating grease or paint. These items will damage ProfiLine and freshwater dishwashers. Do not wash items soiled with ash, sand, wax, lubricating grease or paint in ProfiLine or freshwater dish-washers. Position the bottles in the designated locations in the bottle basket.

Please note:

  • Load the bottles so that water can access all surfaces.The bottle basket has 16 bottle holders.
  • Load the bottles onto the injector nozzles with the openings pointing down.

The bottle basket and holders can only accommodate bottles with a maximum diameter of 95 mm. The maximum number of bottles that can be loaded for cleaning is 16. Insufficient cleaning The height of the bottles loaded on the nozzles at the front must not exceed 200 mm. Liquid dispensing is recommended if all of the bottles loaded for cleaning are taller than 200 mm.
