  •  When disconnecting the appliance from the power source, pull only on the plug itself, never on the cable.
  •  Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route the cable so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.
  •  After every use, before cleaning and when refilling with tap water, always remove the plug from the mains power socket.
  •  Always unroll the power cable fully before switching on and do not use an extension cable.
  •  Never touch the power cable or the plug with wet hands.
  •  Stop using the appliance if the anti-kink protection on the power cable is damaged!
  •  Always pull the plug out of the power socket before filling the water tank with water.
  •  Do not open the housing of the steam iron. Have a defective steam iron repaired only by an authorized technician.
Never use the steam iron adjacent to water contained in a bath, shower, wash basin or other vessels. The proximity of water is hazardous, even if the appliance is switched off.

Under no circumstances should you operate the appliance on a 220 – 240 V mains supply when the voltage switch is set to 100 – 127 V (or vice versa). This can damage the appliance and invalidate the guarantee. Ask your energy supplier or the hotel staff about the rating of the local electrical mains supply. Do not insert the plug into a power socket and switch on your appliance until this has been clarified.

  9.  Press the steam switch 3 again so that it re-engages. The steam discharge then stops.

  3. Select the appropriate temperature setting with the temperature control 4.
    NOTE
► Always place the iron on the stand 6 while it heats up.

The indicator lamp 9 lights up. The indicator lamp 9 goes out once the set temperature has been reached.
  4.  Wait until the indicator lamp 9 goes out.
  5.  If you want to iron with steam, press the steam switch 3 so that it disengages and protrudes beyond the appliance surface. The temperature control 4 must be set in the /MAX range to produce steam.
    NOTE
