HAND CONTROL

AUTOMOWER

BATTERY INSTALLATION

  1. Make sure the power switch is in the “OFF” position.
  2. Open the battery door on the bottom of the Hand Control / Automower by using a cross-head screwdriver, turning counterclockwise.
  3. Remove old batteries – dispose of them safely (fig. 1 / 3).
  4. Install new batteries in the position shown on the diagram (fig. 2 / 4).
    • Hand C ontrol – 2 x 1.5V AA/LR 6 • Automower – 5 x 1.5V AA/LR 6 Ensure correct polarity.
  5. Refit the battery door by inserting the tab on the door into a slot in the battery compartment (fig. 2 / 4).
  6. Turn the screw on the battery door clockwise using a cross head screwdriver (fig. 2 / 4).

HOW TO CONNECT:

  1. Turn the Power Switch button to the ‘ON’ position both on Automower and Hand Control.
  2. Waiting to connect:
    • Hand Control green LED indicator ashes.
    • Automower white LED headlights ash.
  3. Connected to play:
    • Hand Control green LED indicator “ON”.
    • Automower white LED headlights ash with the pattern.

DRIVING TIPS:

  • For best performance, operate the Automower on flat, firm, and dry surfaces.
  • Do not drive on sand or through water or snow. If the Automower gets wet, wipe with a towel and allow it to dry completely.
  • Suggested control distance: 30 meters without signal disturbance.

BATTERY WARNINGS

  • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
  • Never mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
  • Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Do not use rechargeable batteries.
  • Always remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
  • Do not short circuit the supply terminals.
  • Never mix Alkaline, standard (Carbon Zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
  • Batteries should be installed by adult only.
  • Please retain the owner manual and packaging since it contains important information.

HELPFUL HINTS

  • Do not immerse unit into water.
  • Alkaline batteries are recommended.
