Computer connection by USB

Use the attached mini USB cable to connect the PSE-0400 to the USB port of the computer. The system will load the driver automatically. After loading is completed, an audio device will appear in the system’s device manager, as shown below:

This means that the set-up is successful, and the PSE-0400 can be used normally. If the computer is connected to many external devices, the input device should be set to the PSE-0400 in the system’s audio settings, as shown below:

The Windows 7 system or above is recommended. An older system may require the setup of the USB universal driver and has poor compatibility, thereby affecting the performance of the PSE-0400.

Bluetooth connection mode

Note

  • Only support customized models.
  •  This mode can only be applied to the Windows 10 operating system. Any lower version is not applicable and it also cannot be used with the mobile phone (since this device has no speaker, a voice from the other side cannot be heard).

Please use the attached mini USB cable to connect the PSE-0400 and the USB charger (5V/0.5A or above), and then search for the PSE-0400 in the computer system. After successful pairing, set the PSE-0400as the input device, and set the system speaker or any other speaker in the system as the output device, as shown below:

Note

If the PSE-0400 is to be paired with any other device when being connected to the computer through Bluetooth, hold down the Bluetooth key on the back, then the PSE-0400 will be in the pairing state and can be searched for and paired again; or you can cancel the pairing of the device in use, the PSE-0400 can be searched for and paired again.

Use with the PSE-0500/PSE-0600

  • Use the special audio cable of the attached double mini USB head to connect the PSE-0400 to the PSE-0500/PSE-0600, as shown below:
  • In this way, when it is used in a large conference room, the PSE-0500/PSE-0600 will form a larger microphone array group for better teleconference effects.
    Note: The PSE-0600 supports one external PSE-0400 only, and the PSE-0400 has the conference pickup function but no sound source positioning function; the PSE-0500 supports up to four PSE-0400s to form a larger microphone array group.
  • The PSE-0400 and the PSE-0500 can be connected wirelessly to form a microphone array group. Operating procedure:
    • Power supply: Insert the attached mini USB cable into USB charger (5V/0.5A or above) to energize the PSE-0400; use the attached special charger to energize and start the PSE-0500;
    •  Pairing: Hold down the “U” key of the PSE-0400; pairing is successful when the indicator on the PSE-0500 is constantly illuminated other than flashing. In the case of wireless connection, one PSE-0500 supports up to four PSE-0400s, and pairing is conducted from the 1st to the 4th, which means that the first PSE-0400 is paired with the first position of the PSE-0500, so on and so forth.

Connect to other devices via line-in cable

The out-of-audioto other devices can be achieved by connecting the audio line-in cable to these devices. Operating procedure: Insert the mini USB cable into the USB charger (5V/0.5A or above), insert one end of the audio line-in cable to the 3.5mm audio output socket of the PSE-0400, and the other end to the microphone input socket of the other device to use the PSE-0400 for high-quality pickup.

Mute

When the mute function is off, press the key in the front of the PSE-0400 to start the mute function, then the PSE-0400 will not output the audio to the other device, and the red indicator will be illuminated, indicating the mute state, indicating the mute state; When the mute function is on, press the key in the front of the PSE-0400 to close the mute function, then the PSE-0400 will output the audio to the other device, and the red indicator will go out.
