SAFETY

Please read this manual completely before using your appliance! Follow all the safety instructions to avoid damage caused by improper use! This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.

• Please retain this user manual for further reference. If you give the appliance to someone else, give the user manual as well.
• This appliance is not intended for industrial use.
• Never use the appliance in the bathroom, shower, or bathtub. Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
  
• Do not immerse the appliance in water and do not let it contact with water even during cleaning.
• Warning: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, shower trays, or other containers filled with water.
• Make sure to unplug the appliance before cleaning and user maintenance.
• If you are using the appliance in the bathroom, unplug it after use because water present near the appliance might pose a risk even if the appliance is turned off.
• For additional protection, it is recommended to connect the device to a power supply with a residual current device with a maximum rated current (RCD) of 30mA.
• When in use, never put the appliance on a soft cushion or blanket.
• Make sure that the air inlets or outlets are not blocked during use.
• The appliance is equipped with an overheating protection system.
• Unplug the appliance after use. Do not unplug the appliance by pulling its power cord.
• Never use the appliance if there is visible damage on the appliance or on the power cable. Contact the authorized service provider.
• Never mind the power cable around the appliance. Otherwise, the cable might get damaged. Check the power cable and the appliance regularly for visual damage.
• GRUNDIG Small Appliances are compliant with the applicable safety standards. For this reason, if the appliance or the power cable gets damaged, it must be repaired or replaced by the authorized service center to avoid any danger. Faulty or unqualified repair work may be dangerous and cause risk to the user.
• Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
• This appliance can be used by children at age 8 and above and by people who have reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or by people who lack experience and information, on the condition that they are supervised and informed about the safe use of the appliance and the risks involved. Children should not tamper with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should be performed by the children if they are not attended to.
• Never attempt to dismantle the appliance. No warranty claims are accepted for damage caused by improper use.
• For perfect results, a hot air stream is needed. Remember that metal-coated brushes may overheat in case of long-term or intensive use. To avoid injury, adjust the period of use of the appliance according to the accessory you are using.

Cleaning and care Caution

• Never immerse the appliance or the power cord in water or any other liquid. Do not use any cleaning agent.
• Always allow the appliance to cool down on a heat-resistant, safe, and flat surface.

• If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time, please store it carefully.
• Please make sure that the appliance is unplugged, completely cold, and dry.

• Store the appliance in a cool and dry place.
