Preparations for use

Placing the heated under blanket
Starting at the foot end, spread out the heated under a blanket (top, see Fig. B) over the mattress. The plug-in connector 5 on the heated underplant-ket should be towards the head end (see Fig. C). First, connect the control unit 1 to the heated under a blanket by plugging the two parts of the plug-in connector 5 together (see Fig. D).

WARNING: RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT AND / OR OTHER PROPERTY!

Please be sure

  • the plug-in connector 5 and the cable do not get pinched on the bedframe.
  • the cable does not get wedged between the bed frame and the mattress.
  • the cable does not get severely kinked. Otherwise, the plug-in connector 5 and the cable could be damaged.
  • Then place the bottom sheet as usual over the heated under blanket, so that the heated under blanket lies between the mattress and the bottom sheet.
  • Ensure that the heat under a blanket is completely flat and that it does not become drawn together or folded during use.
  • Before use on an adjustable bed, verify the heated under a blanket and the cables will not be pinched in the hinges, for example, or pushed together.
  • Switch the heat under the blanket for approximately 30 minutes before going to bed and cover it with the top sheet and other bedding. By doing this you will keep all the heat in.
