Installing and Using the Product

Please read this manual carefully before operating your set and retain it for future reference.

Replacement of Battery

 

  1. Connect the sound bar to your TV via an optical cable or an HDMI cable.
  2. If you are using an external device (ex. Blu-ray player, game console, etc.), connect it to the soundbar via an HDMI cable.
  3. Using the product with your TV
    1. Press the Function button repeatedly until the first (Top) LED among the three LEDs lights up in white.
    2. On your TV’s settings, set the output speaker to [HDMI ARC], [Optical], or [External Speaker].
  4. Connecting the product to your smartphone via Bluetooth
    1. Tap the Settings button on your smartphone and select Bluetooth. Turn on the Bluetooth function. ()
    2. Press the Bluetooth pair button. After a moment, the second LED lights up in blue and blinks among the three LEDs.
    3. Find and tap the product on your smartphone. The product appears as “LG SP2 (XX)”.
  5. Connecting to the LG Sound Bar app
    1. Find and install the LG Sound Bar app on Google Play or App Store from your smartphone.
    2. You can get more information regarding its use by selecting [Help] in [Setting].

[For product having the wireless function using 5 GHz frequency bands]

  1. the device for operation in the band 5150–5250 MHz is only for indoor use to reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile satellite systems;
  2. for devices with detachable antenna(s), the maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the bands 5250-5350 MHz and 5470-5725 MHz shall be such that the equipment still complies with the e.i.r.p. limit;
  3. for devices with detachable antenna(s), the maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the band 5725-5850 MHz shall be such that the equipment still complies with the e.i.r.p. limits as appropriate; and
  4. [for devices operating in the band 5250-5350 MHz having an e.i.r.p. greater than 200 mW] antenna type(s), antenna models(s), and worst-case tilt angle(s) necessary to remain compliant with the e.i.r.p. elevation mask requirement set forth in section 6.2.2.3 of RSS-247 shall be clearly indicated.
    Users should also be advised that high-power radars are allocated as primary users (i.e. priority users) of the bands 5250-5350 MHz and 5650-5850 MHz and that these radars could cause interference and/or damage to LE-LAN devices.
