Miele B3826 Fashion Master

Please read the instruction manual before installing and using this machine and observe all warning and safety instructions.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Before you begin
   •  Turn on the iron with the “On / Off” button. The “Finger guard” symbol will fl ash.
   • Now activate the finger guard by lifting it.
2. Ironing
   The Start button begins to fl ash as soon as the minimum temperature is reached.
   
   • Now press the flashing “Start” button to start up the ironer.
3. Select the temperature
   • Set the corresponding heater plate temperature according to the type of fabric.
4. Selecting the iron speed
   • Select the roller speed.
5. Laundry feed
   • Lay the item parallel to the roller at the beginning of the laundry infeed table.
   • Smooth the item.
   • Feed the item into the machine.
6. FlexControl footswitch
   • While ironing, press the FlexControl footswit- ch with your foot to switch the iron to steaming mode and steam the laundry. Continuing the ironing procedure
   • Remove your foot from the footswitch again to continue with the ironing procedure.

Ironing with a coin-operated payment system

• Turn on the iron using the “On / Off” button
  The display symbol fl ashes.
• Insert the coin or token.
  The symbol will go out in the display.
• Select the corresponding temperature range
  according to the type of laundry.
• Select the roller speed.
  After the indicator light goes out, the rotary iron is ready for ironing and the countdown of the purchased ironing time begins.
• Press the Start button to begin ironing.
  At the end of the ironing time, the heater plate lowers and the roller comes to a standstill. The symbol fl ashes. More ironing time can be purchased at any time.

   • Switch the flatwork ironer on by pressing the
     On / Off button. The “Finger guard” symbol will fl ash in the display.
   • Now activate the finger guard by lifting it.
2. Ironing
   The “Start” button begins to fl ash as soon as
   the fl atwork ironer has reached the minimum temperature.
   
   • Now press the flashing “Start” button to start up the flatwork ironer.
3. Selecting a temperature of fabric.
   • Select the temperature according to the type of fabric.
4. Selecting the ironer speed
   • Select the roller speed you want.
5. Laundry feed
   • Lay the item parallel to the roller at the start of the laundry infeed table.
   • Smooth the item.
   • Feed the item into the machine.
6. FlexControl foot switch
   • During ironing, press down the “FlexControl” footswitch to change to Steam mode. Continuing ironing
   •  Remove your foot from the footswitch to continue ironing.

Ironing with a coin-operated payment system

  The symbol will fl ash in the display.
• Insert the coin or token. The symbol will go out in the display.
• Select the temperature range according to the type of laundry.
• Select the roller speed you want.
  When the symbol goes out in the display, the flatwork ironer is ready to operate and the ironing time purchased will begin to count down.
• Press the Start button to start the fl atwork ironer.
  At the end of the ironing time, the heater plate disengages, the heating will switch off and the roller comes to a standstill. The  symbol fl ashes in the display. More ironing time can be purchased at any time.
