Tap Operation

  1. Completely plug in the Wi-Fi wall and tap into a standard indoor outlet covering both outlets. The tap is providing power and surge protection.
  2. Turn off electronics before plugging in directly to the Wi-Fi wall tap.
    Do not use extension cords.
  3. Turn on the connected equipment.
  4. Hold the wall tap firmly against the wall when removing plugs.

NOTE: Check the “PROTECTED” indicator light periodically. A glowing blue indicator light shows that surge protection is being provided. If the indicator light stops glowing, the surge protective components have expired — though power will still be supplied to the outlets. To ensure the protection of your electronics the surge protector should be replaced.
