Intended Use

Brite Shield™ is a static soak and ultrasonic cleaner that chemo-mechanically debrides clogged dental instruments and aids to protect instruments through a unique passivation process to restrict rust and corrosion.

Device Description

Premier Brite Shield
Power enzymatic cleaning action to remove proteins, light stains, set cements, and protects instruments from rust and corrosion.

Contraindications

  • Do not use Brite Shield™ under the following conditions:
  • If the container or cap is found broken/damaged
  • Should not be used on anodized aluminum instruments

PRECAUTIONS

  • Do not mix with other detergents or contaminants
  • Avoid over dilution.
  • Keep product stored only in original container.
  • Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
  • Do not place a wet scoop into container.
  • Wash exposed skin and hands thoroughly after handling.

WARNINGS:

  • Remove contact lenses, if exposed.
  • EYES – Rinse with large volumes of water for 15 minutes if exposed. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
  • SKIN – Rinse with large volumes of water.
  • INGESTION – Drink large volumes of water. Contact physician promptly.

Adverse Events:

  • IF SWALLOWED –
  • Harmful, may cause nausea and vomiting.
  • May be irritating to mouth and throat.
  • May cause skin irritation, eye damage and allergic skin reactions.

If a serious incident has occurred in relation to the device, please report the incident to the Manufacturer and/or competent authority of the Member State where the device was used.

Contents and Setup

Materials:
Environmentally friendly Powerful Enzymatic formula.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

  • For daily cleaning and rust protection, place one scoop of Brite Shield powder and 64oz. (1894ml) of warm water in ultrasonic unit.
  • For heavy contaminated instruments, use two scoops of powder.
  • For cement/stain removal, place two scoops of Brite Shield powder and 16oz. (473ml) of warm water in ultrasonic unit.
  • Stir until dissolved.
  • Immerse instruments in solution and clean in ultrasonic unit for 1-5 minutes.
  • Rinse instruments thoroughly with water and dry before sterilization.
  • For optimal results, change solution per use or daily

Disposal:
After use, Dispose of as biohazardous medical waste in accordance to facility or institutional guidelines/procedures.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Shelf Life:
The product does not have a shelf life.
