Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully and retain for future reference. When using the unit, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1.  Keep this product and its charging cable away from direct sunlight, excessive heat or flammable materials.
  2.  Do not operate this product if it has malfunctioned or has been damaged in any way.
  3.  No user-serviceable parts inside. Do not dismantle.
  4.  This product is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  5.  Do not expose batteries to heat or fire as they may explode. Do not store the speaker in a car during hot weather.
  6.  Speaker can get warm when charging. Turn the unit off before charging.
  7.  Do not dispose of batteries in your household waste. Contact your local council for information on disposal or recycling.
  8.  This speaker is for indoor use only. Keep away from water and liquids.
  9. Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids. Store in a cool, dry place.
  10.  Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
  11.  Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. Do not cover the speaker during use.
  12.  Do not insert foreign objects into any opening on the unit.
  13.  Do not play music at excessive volume levels as this can cause hearing loss or damage the unit.

Functional button

  1. On/Off Switch
  2.  AUX Input: Connect the auxiliary device using 3.5mm AUX cable to play audio.
  3.  DC 5V micro USB Charging Port to charge the speaker.
  4.  Play/Pause Button: Short press to play or pause. When a phone call comes, short press to receive the call; short press again to end the call; press and hold for 2 seconds to reject the call Short press two times in quick succession to redial the last called number. In FM mode, press and hold 2 seconds to scan available FM stations; short press once to save a particular channel to memory.
  5.  + Button (Next/Volume Up): Long press to play the next song (or next channel in FM mode). Press and hold to increase volume.
  6. Mode Button: Short press to switch between available modes: BT/FM/TF/USB/AUX.
  7.  Button (Previous/Volume Down): Short press to play the previous song (or previous channel in FM mode). Press and hold to reduce volume.
  8.  Lights Button: Short press to switch between available lighting colors. Press and hold to turn the lights on or off.
  9.  Microphone: For speaking during phone calls.
  10.  MicroSD (TF) card port: Insert a microSD card to play compatible audio
  11.  USB port: Insert a USB memory device to play compatible audio.
  12.  LED Indicator: Lights up red when charging; turns off when fully charged.

 

Charging the Speaker

Turn off the unit before charging. Charge the unit fully before using it for the first time and whenever the sound becomes weak.

  1.  Connect the USB charging cable to the micro USB Charging Port on the unit. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a DC 5V, 1A power adaptor to charge the unit. You can also connect it to the USB port of a computer or similar.
  2.  The red Charging Indicator turns on when the unit is charging and turns off when t is fully charged. Remove the charging cable promptly. Do not overcharge. Charging time: Around 2-3 hours. Battery run time: Around 2-3 hours.

Bluetooth Connection

  • Place the speaker close to (within 10 meters of) your Bluetooth-enabled device lf, not in Bluetooth mode, short press the Mode Button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
  • Enable the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet or media player, navigate to the Bluetooth setting menu, and search for new devices. The Bluetooth name for this speaker is “XS-N1112.
  • once connected, you can short press the Previous or Next Button to play the previous or next song.

FM Radio Playback

Note: Extend the FM antenna for better reception.

  • Short press Mode Button to switch to FM Radio mode.
  • Press and hold Play/Pause Button 2 seconds to scan available FM stations; short press once if you want to save a particular channel to memory.
  • Press the Previous or Next Buttons to switch between the saved channels.

USB/microSD/AUX Input

Connect a USB/microSD memory device, or an AUX cable connected to your device, to the appropriate port. Short press the Mode Button to switch to the correct mode.

  • Note: Only MP3 format files are compatible.
  • The maximum size of the USB/ microSD device that can be connected is 64GB.

True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Mode

(Optional, requires two speakers)
If you have two speakers (Model: XS-N1112BA or XS-N1112RA), you can use them together for a more immersive audio experience.

  1.  Place the two speakers in the same room and turn them on.
  2.  Press the Mode Button on both speakers two times to switch the speakers to Bluetooth mode. Do not connect either speaker to your audio source device at this stage.
  3.  Short press the +/- Button on either speaker two times to connect the two speakers in TWS mode. You will hear an audio alert indicating that the two Speakers are connected.
  4.  Now enable the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet or media player, navigate to the Bluetooth setting menu, and search for new devices. The Bluetooth name for this speaker is XS-N1112.
  5.  Once connected, you can play Bluetooth audio from your source device on the speakers wirelessly, in stereo.

Troubleshooting

  1.  The speaker turns off on its own Battery might be low. Charge it fully before using it again.
  2.  Cannot play files from USB/MicroSD
    • The file might be in an incompatible format.
    • Only mp3 files are compatible.
    • file-path might not be recognized; try storing the file directly in the root directory.
  3.  No sound OTry increasing the volume.
    • Choose the correct audio source.
    • If connected to a computer, make sure the correct audio output is selected.
  4.  The buttons are not working Battery might be low. Try charging for 2 hours.
    • Turn it off and turn on again after a few seconds.
