Radio Controls

  2. Push-to-Talk (PTT) Button

  7. LED Indicator
  8.  On/Off/Volume Control Knob
  9. Channel Selector Knob

Turning the Radio On and Off
Rotate the On/Off/Volume Control Knob clockwise or counterclockwise until a click sounds.
Adjusting the Volume
Rotate the On/Off/Volume Control Knob clockwise or counterclockwise.

LED Indicators
Blinking Red
Radio is transmitting in low battery state, has failed the self-test upon powering up, has moved out of range if the radio is configured with Auto-Range Transponder System, or is receiving an emergency transmission.

Solid Green
Radio is powering up, transmitting, indicating full battery capacity when the programmed Battery Strength button is pressed, or selecting NiMH as the battery type when the Battery Type button is pressed.
Blinking Green
Radio is receiving a call or data, or detecting activity over the air.
Solid Yellow
Radio is monitoring a conventional channel, selecting Li-Ion as the battery type when the Battery Type button is pressed or indicating fair battery charge when the programmed Battery Strength button is pressed.
Blinking Yellow
Radio is scanning for activity, has Flexible Receive List enabled, or has yet to respond to a Call Alert.
Double Blinking Yellow
Radio is actively searching for a new site, is locked, or has yet to respond to a Group Call Alert.
