BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions.
  2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  3. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse the cord, plugs, or (state-specific part or parts in question) in water or other liquid.
  4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.  Allow cooling before putting on or taking off parts.
  6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
  7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  8. Do not use outdoors.
  9. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  11. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  12. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
  13.  Do not use appliances other than intended use.
  14. Use extreme caution when removing tray or disposing of hot grease.
  15. Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts, creating parts, creating a risk of electric shock.
  16. Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in a toaster oven as they may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
  17. A fire may occur if the toaster oven is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation. Do not store any of the above materials on top of the appliance when in operation.
  18. Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of other than metal or glass.
  19. Do not store any materials, other than manufacturers’ recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
  20. Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: (that is, paper, cardboard, plastic, and like).
  21. Do not cover the crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the oven.
  22. Caution: To ensure continued protection against the risk of electric shock, connect to properly grounded outlets only.
  23. Remove plug from the outlet when the appliance is not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. Allow cooling before handing.
  24. Avoid contacting moving parts.
  25. For household use only.
  26.  In the process of cooking, press “START/STOP” to stop the oven from working.

CAUTION: Do not insert your fingers into any gaps or holes; it may cause injuries.

Short cord instruction (detachable power-supply cord)
a) A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) should be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
c) If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:

  1. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
    The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Remove all accessories and shipping materials packed inside the oven.
  2. Wash the rack and grill tray with warm soapy water. Wipe the inside of the oven with a damp cloth or sponge. Wipe up the inside of the oven with paper towels before using it.
  3. Place the oven on a flat counter or another stable surface. DO NOT OPERATE ON THE SAME CIRCUIT WITH ANOTHER APPLIANCE.
  4. Make sure that the crumb tray is properly installed before using it.
    For the first time only, set the Temperature Knob to MAX, and set the function setting and timer to roast and 15 minutes. This will burn oils remaining in the oven.

NOTE: The oven may smoke during this process. This is normal for a new oven and this phenomenon will not last more than 10-15 minutes.

HOW TO USE
CAUTION: THE OVEN SURFACES ARE HOT DURING AND AFTER USE
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place the grill tray and rack at a position suitable for the height of the food to be cooked.
  2. The food must be placed on the grill tray to avoid the fre danger caused by the accumulation of food chipping on the heating pipes.
  3. Make sure to use an ovenproof container in the oven. Do not use plastic or cardboard containers in the oven.
  4.  Clean the heating elements periodically.
  5. Never use glass or ceramic pans or lids.
  6. DO NOT let juices fow to the bottom of the oven. Use the crumb tray when cooking.
  7. Set the temperature according to the recipe or as desired.
  8. Securely shut the door and set the cooking time to begin operating the oven.
  9. When you use the rack, please put the convex upward.
  10.  Please don’t unplug the power cord before the oven has nished its work. The fan will delay its work for 1 minute.

a. When the oven is plugged in, the buzzer will ring once. All the indicators are displayed and after 1 second the default function is displayed.
b. When the oven is plugged in and not in use for over 10 minutes, the display goes to sleep mode. Press any button for a display to light up again.
c. Rotate the “FUNC.” knob to select different operation modes including -AIR FRY, -TOAST, -BAKE, -BROIL, -ROAST, -PIZZA, -REHEAT, -WARM, -SLOW COOK, -DEHYDRATE.
Rotate the “Select” knob to choose the time, temperature, number of slices, color, and additional settings for AIR FRY.
d. Convection “ ” can be used with BAKE, BROIL, ROAST, PIZZA or REHEAT function.  Press “ ” to turn on the fan. Then the icon is displayed. This method of cooking
allows heat to circulate evenly.
e. In the process of cooking, press the ” START/STOP ” button once to stop the function.

AIR FRY FUNCTION:
a. Rotate the “FUNC.” knob to select “AIR FRY”. The screen will display “A1″.
b. Rotate the “SELECT” knob to select A1~A6. Press “TEMP/TIME” and the screen will display the default time and default temperature
c. Once you choose from A2 -A6, press “START/STOP”. Preheating will start and the “PREHEAT” .icon will flash. When preheat is done, the buzzer will ring and the  COMPLETE” icon will flash. If choose A1, you can skip step c.
d. Place food inside the oven and press “START/STOP”. Time will start to count down. (With “A1” selection, spread fries evenly on the cooking basket to avoid layers. Use The default time and temperature.)
e.Rotate the “SELECT” knob to change the time and temperature press the “TEMP/TIME” knob to change the  you want to fry the food.
f. Always remove food with oven mitts. The food and oven will be very hot.

TOAST FUNCTION:
a. Rotate the “FUNC.” knob to select “TOAST”. The screen will display “4 slices”.
b. Rotate the “SELECT” knob select 1~6 slice.
c. Press “TEMP/TIME” and rotate the “SELECT” knob to choose the toast color.
d. Press “START/STOP”, and the cooking time will begin to count down.
e. Always remove food with oven mitts. The food and oven will be very hot.
BAKE FUNCTION:
a. Rotate the “FUNC.” knob to select “BAKE”.
b. Rotate the “SELECT” knob to select the temperature you want to bake the food. The temperature will flash on the screen.
c. Press “TEMP/TIME” and rotate the “SELECT” knob to set desired cooking time.
d. Press “START/STOP”, and the cooking time will begin to count down.
e. Always remove food with oven mitts. The food and oven will be very hot.

BROIL FUNCTION:
a. Rotate the “FUNC.” knob to select “BROIL”.
b. Rotate the “SELECT” knob to select the temperature you to want to broil the food. The
temperature will flash on the screen.
c. Press “TEMP/TIME” and rotate the “SELECT” knob to set desired cooking time.
d. Press “START/STOP”, and the cooking time will begin to count down.
e. Always remove food with oven mitts. The food and oven will be very hot.
ROAST FUNCTION:
a. Rotate the “FUNC.” knob to select “ROAST”.
b. Rotate the “SELECT” knob to select the temperature you want to roast the food. The
temperature will flash on the screen.
c. Press “TEMP/TIME” and rotate the “SELECT” knob to set desired cooking time.
d. Press “START/STOP”, and the cooking time will begin to count down.
e. Always remove food with oven mitts. The food and oven will be very hot.
PIZZA FUNCTION:
a. Rotate the “FUNC.” knob to select the “PIZZA”. The screen will display “9 inches” .
b. Rotate the “SELECT” knob to select the 6, 9, or 12 inches.
c. Press “START/STOP”. Preheating will start and the “PREHEAT” icon will flash. When preheat
is done, the buzzer will ring and the “COMPLETE” icon will flash.
d. Place food inside the oven and press “START/STOP”. and the cooking time will begin to count down.
e.Rotate the “SELECT” knob to change the time and press the “TEMP/TIME” knob to change the temperature.
f. Always remove food with oven mitts. The food and oven will be very hot.

REHEAT FUNCTION:
a. Rotate the “FUNC.” knob to select the “REHEAT”.
b. Rotate the “SELECT” knob to select the temperature you want to reheat the food. The
temperature will flash on the screen.
c. Press “TEMP/TIME” and rotate the “SELECT” knob to set desired cooking time.
d. Press “START/STOP”, and the cooking time will begin to count down.
e. Always remove food with oven mitts. The food and oven will be very hot.
SLOW COOK FUNCTION:
a. Rotate the “FUNC.” knob to select “SLOW COOK”.
b. Rotate the “SELECT” knob to select the temperature you want to cook the food. The temperature will flash on the screen.
c. Press “TEMP/TIME” and rotate the “SELECT” knob to set desired cooking time.
d. Press “START/STOP”, and the cooking time will begin to count down.
e. Always remove food with oven mitts. The food and oven will be very hot.
DEHYDRATE FUNCTION:
a. Rotate the “FUNC.” knob to select “DEHYDRATE”.
b. Rotate the “SELECT” knob to select the temperature you want to dehydrate the food.
The temperature will flash?? on the screen.
c. Press “TEMP/TIME” and rotate the “SELECT” knob to set desired cooking time.
d. Press “START/STOP”.
e. Always remove food with oven mitts. The food and oven will be very hot.

WARM FUNCTION:
a. Rotate the “FUNC.” knob to select “WARM”.
b. Rotate the “Select” knob to select the temperature level between 100°F~300°F at which you want to keep the food warm. The temperature will fash on the screen.
c. Press “TEMP/TIME” and rotate the “SELECT” knob to set desired cooking time.
d. Press “START/STOP”, and the cooking time will begin to count down.
e. Always remove food with oven mitts. The food and oven will be very hot.

CARE AND CLEANING

  1.  Before cleaning unplug the toaster oven and allow it to cool completely.
  2.  Wash all attachments, including the rack and the grill tray, with mild soap and water.
  3.  Do not use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes, and chemical cleaner as this will cause damage to the non-stick coating of the grill tray.
  4. Using a wet cloth to wipe the inside of the oven.
  5.  Clean the door by using a wet cloth saturated with detergent or soap.
  6. Never immerse the unit in water or other liquid.
  7.  Any other services should be performed by an authorized service representative.
