Overview Of The Unit

Wiring Diagram

Installation

Place the Front Camera on the windshield behind the rearview mirror and adjust the appropriate Lens angle by checking it on the Car Audio.

Remove the protective film of the double sided tape on the base of the Front Camera and fix the Front Camera on the windshield behind the rearview Mirror.

Place the Rear Camera on the rear windshield and adjust the appropriate lens angle by checking it on the Car Audio.

Remove the protective film of the double sided tape on the camera base and fix the Rear Camera at proper position of the rear windshield.

Getting Started

Head Unit Initial Set Up

  1. Tap to access System Menu and set [Camera In] to [Rear DVR].
  2. Tap to access this device camera screen

Date & Time On Head Unit

This device automatically synchronizes date and time from head unit when car is turned on. Ensure correct date and time is set in the head unit menu.

DVR Operation Description

1 Access into the System Settings to select the Video

Resolution: Full HD 30fps or HD 30fps

2 Recording Video status / Photo Take status
3 Take Photo
4 Recording the video, tap again in standby stauts
5 Emergency video record, the Current Event file lock and stored in event folder
6 Access into the Video/File Playback Browser menu to

adjust items:

(Normal File/Event File/Parking File/Photo)

7 Access into the System setting menu to adjust items: (Recording mode / Iamge mode / miscroSD Card mode / Settings)
8 The Red LED blinks in recording the video
9 Time consuming
10 Switch the Camera screen

Major Settings

Video Duration
The duration for each recording:
1Minute-the duration for each recording is 1 minute
2Minutes- the duration for each recording is 2 minutes
3Minutes- the duration for each recording is 3 minutes
5Minutes- the duration for each recording is 5 minutes

Power Off Delay Recording

This device will continue to record after the power is turned off:

10 Seconds – This device will still continue to record for 10 seconds after the power is turned off
30 Seconds – This device will still continue to record for 30 seconds after the power is turned off
1Minute – This device will still continue to record for 1 minute after the power is turned off
Off – Disable this feature

Sound Record
Microphone records sound from surroundings and you can hear the recorded sound when playing the video.

 If you don’t want to record any sound, just turn off the microphone.

Parking Monitoring
This device will automatically turn on and start recording when something hits the car (e.g. collision). This function only activates when the car is parked and the engine is turned off. Video is saved in the PARKING folder. The lower the monitoring setting value, the easier it is to start the recording.

Collision Sensitivity
During collision or sudden brake this device will start up the Gravity Sensor, video recorded are saved separately in special folder called EVENT

Axis X direction: means turning left and right.
The smaller the value in the X direction, the easier it is to activate gravity sensing when turning.

Axis Y direction: means acceleration and emergency stop.
The smaller the value in the Y direction, the easier it is to activate the gravity sensor during an emergency brake.

Axis Z direction: indicates bumps up and down.
The smaller the value in the Z direction, the easier it is to activate gravity sensing during bumps.

On/ Off: Enable/Disable this feature

Managing video File On PC

Normal

Normal Video Folder

Videos recorded under normal circumstances are saved in this folder. The device allocates 69% of its storage capacity for this folder alone.Old videos will be automatically deleted and replaced by the new ones when the allocated storage is full.

Event

Emergency Video Folder

Videos recorded during sudden brake stop, collision or car crash are saved in this folder. 20% of the device’s storage capacity is allocated for this folder. Old videos will be automatically deleted and replaced by the new ones when the allocated storage is full.

Parking

Parked Car Monitoring Video Folder

Events that may occur when car is parked such as collisions are recorded and saved in this folder. 10% of the device’s storage capacity is reserved for this folder.Old videos are automatically deleted and replaced by the new ones when the allocated storage is full.

Photo

Photo Folder

Photos captured are saved and stored here. Only 1% of the device’s storage capacity is dedicated for this folder. Old photos are automatically deleted and replaced by the new ones when the dedicated storage is full.

Please use a microSD card with capacity at least16GB, up to 256GB, Class 10 or above. Be sure to format the microSD card with the device before usage.

Troubleshooting

Troubles Causes Solutions
The device makes beep sound continuously microSD Card maybe defective Check if the microSD Card is damaged and replace it with a new one
Blurred video Device lens is dusty Clean the lens
Windshield of vehicle is dusty Clean the windshield
Environmental impact outside the vehicle Observe other videos to determine if the environment is affected
Stop recording automatically Use a low-speed microSD Card Use a microSD Card with high-speed (CLASS 10 or higher)
